THE SENT WORD DAILY DEVOTIONAL

(ABC Global Daily Devotional)

2026 – The Year Of The Word
Date: 19th February, 2026

Topic: The Word Above the Name

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 138:2 (KJV)
…for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Philippians 2:9–10 (KJV)
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.

Key Thought:
The power of God’s name is activated by revelation of His Word.

Today’s Message:
God’s Word reigns above every dimension of the Spirit and the earth. Scripture boldly declares that He has magnified His Word above all His name. This reveals a deep spiritual hierarchy: while names carry authority, the Word is the substance that gives the name its power.

Across the heavens and the earth, realities are captured, classified, and administered by names. Indeed, God has exalted the name of Jesus above every name, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. Yet the effectiveness of that name in a believer’s life is not mechanical; it is revelational.

The true force behind the name of Jesus is understanding of the Word that backs the name. In simple terms, it is faith in the name, living faith born from revelation. (Acts 3:16)

Many mention the name, but few wield its authority.
Why? Because power flows where revelation lives.

The patriarch Abraham walked in this mystery. He began to access nations, territories, and generational influence without using any human soul as exchange currency. His advantage was not political, economic, or military, it was revelational. Abraham, through the ministry of Melchizedek discovered God as Elohim, the All-Sufficient One. By revelation, he trusted the Word behind the name, and faith positioned him to inherit what systems of men could not purchase, and will never be able to afford him. (Genesis 14 18-24)

Beloved, names without understanding become religious vocabulary. But when the Word behind the name opens to you, faith rises, authority flows, and results become undeniable.

In this Year of the Word, the call of the Spirit is clear: seek the revelation behind the names of God.
Do not stop at confession, press into comprehension.
Do not stop at vocabulary, pursue revelation.
Do not stop at the sound of the name, encounter the Word behind it.

As you explore the Word, the power of His name will become your living reality. What once required struggle will begin to respond to revelation.

Remember: the Word is the foundation, and faith in that Word makes the name powerful in your life.

Prayer:
Father, in this Year of the Word, open my eyes to the revelation behind Your names. Deliver me from empty confession and bring me into living faith. Let Your Word come alive in my spirit and cause me to experience the power in the name of Jesus in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name.

Declaration:
God’s Word rules in my life.
I walk in revelation, not mere repetition.
My faith in God’s Word is alive and active.
The name of Jesus works powerfully in me.
I access my inheritance by revelation.
This is my year of the Word and of manifest power.
In Jesus’ Name.
