2026 – The Year of the Word

Topic: My Body—God’s Vehicle

Scripture Reading:
1 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV) – “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh…”

1 Chronicles 29:11–12 (NKJV) – “The heavens are Yours, the heaven of heavens is Your throne, and the earth You have given to the sons of men.”

Key Thought:
Our body is the primary vehicle through which God operates on earth. The enemy recognizes this and targets it strategically, while God manifests His glory through it in perfect order.

Today’s Message:
Our body is the vehicle for the Holy Spirit. God operates through this vessel to accomplish His purposes on earth, and the enemy is strategic in knowing this. He does not move aimlessly. Job’s account shows that Satan attacked his body because he understood that God derives glory from it. The devil will target your body because it is a channel through which God’s power and authority operate.

God Himself cannot manifest in His full glory on earth in an unmediated form, because flesh and blood cannot bear His presence (Exodus 33:20). He only revealed Himself partially to individuals such as Abraham and Moses; people chosen to see glimpses of His glory because flesh and blood cannot see God and live. Jesus Himself affirmed this: “No one has seen the Father” (John 6:46; John 1:18).

Because God’s throne is established in righteousness and justice (Psalm 89:14), and He has delegated stewardship of the earth to humanity (“The heavens are Yours, the heaven of heavens is Your throne, and the earth You have given to the sons of men”) (1 Chronicles 29:11–12), He cannot come to earth without a human vessel. He respects the order He instituted from the beginning. This is why He came as a man: Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 3:16), to fulfill His purposes without violating His own principles of justice.

The strategy of the enemy is clear. He recognizes the significance of the human vessel. In Job, he did not attack aimlessly; he first sought permission to target Job’s body, knowing that hurting the vessel would disrupt Job’s life, worship, and testimony. The body is central because God derives glory from it. When we yield our bodies fully to Him, they become instruments of His power and glory

Until Christ returns and we put on glorified bodies, our current human vessels have limitations. Flesh and blood cannot endure the fullness of God. Our bodies must be transformed to operate fully in His kingdom (Philippians 3:21). God is preparing us to exchange these mortal bodies for ones conformed to Christ’s glorious body, enabling us to manifest His presence without restriction.

Beloved, the principle is clear: to operate in the fullness of God’s presence, your body must be yielded to Him. The attacks of the enemy often focus on this vehicle because it is central to your spiritual influence and destiny. The more you honor, protect, and yield your body to the Holy Spirit, the more God’s glory is expressed through you.

God’s strategic use of human vessels demonstrates His wisdom and order. He does not act randomly, nor does He bypass the systems He created. He operates through obedience, covenant, order and alignment. Our lives, bodies, and spirits are instruments in His hands, and understanding this gives clarity about why the enemy targets the body and why obedience is non-negotiable.

As we proceed in this Year Of The Word, we must not just commit our bodies into God’s hands, we must intentionally surrender them as vehicles for His Spirit.(Romans 12:1-2). Every activity, every pruning, every choice must be made with the consciousness that our body is not just God’s temple, but His vehicle.

Prayer:
Father, I thank You that my body is Your vehicle. Help me to honor it, protect it, and yield it fully to the Holy Spirit. Deliver me from every attack of the enemy on my body, mind, and spirit. Prepare me for the day I will put on Christ fully, so I may operate in Your kingdom without limitation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
