What God allows you to see, He authorizes you to own.
Today’s Message:
How far you see, and what you see, depends on where you stand. Spiritual positioning determines spiritual perception. In the kingdom of God, insight is never accidental; it is revelatory. Insight determines ownership.
This principle is first seen with Abraham. God told him, “Lift up your eyes… for all the land which you see I give to you.” In God’s economy, revelation precedes possession. Until your eyes are opened, territory remains unclaimed.
This truth appears again in the journey of Israel. When the spies were sent to view the Promised Land, Joshua and Caleb returned with a different conclusion from the rest. While others saw giants and impossibilities, they declared,
“Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it” (Numbers 13:30).
Their confidence was rooted in revelation. God had shown them the land, and because God had revealed it, they understood it was already theirs.
This same principle is why God asked Jeremiah, “What seest thou?” (Jeremiah 1:11). God did not ask to gain information but to establish responsibility. What a man sees determines what God can place in his hands. Heaven responds to perception.
Satan understands this law too. That is why, during Jesus’ temptation, he took Him to an exceedingly high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory (Matthew 4:8). Satan tried to manipulate sight to offer ownership without obedience. But Jesus rejected it
Satan knew that showing precedes claiming. He attempted to use sight to provoke His desire, and shortcut His obedience. But unlike fallen man, Jesus refused to take what He saw outside the will and timing of God.
Scripture makes it clear: “The secret things belong to the Lord, but the things which are revealed belong to us.” Revelation transfers stewardship, but only revelation that flows from God produces righteous ownership.
Prayer, the Word, and alignment with Christ reposition us spiritually. When God elevates your position, He expands your vision. When your vision expands, your capacity to steward increases. This is why increasing in the knowledge of God sharpens spiritual sight and guards us from deception.
Beloved, in this Year of the Word, God is still asking, “What seest thou?” What you see in God is what you are empowered to walk in.
Prayer:
Father, purify my vision. Open my eyes only to what You are revealing
Reposition me in Your will and grant me discernment to steward what You show me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Declaration:
My eyes are enlightened by the Spirit of God.
I see only what aligns with God’s will for my life.
I refuse every deceptive vision of the enemy.
I walk in revelation, discernment, and divine inheritance, in Jesus’ name.
