Topic: Seasons Are Authorities, Not Calender Dates

Acts 1:7
And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

Seasons are found in God, not on calendars.

Devotional:
People who do not learn how to observe, discern, and decode seasons will eventually discover that there are certain levels, timings, and dimensions they cannot access no matter how close they are.

Proximity is not necessarily an advantage when insight is absent.

Times and seasons are not mere measurements of days and months; they are divine authorities kept in the hands of God. Jesus made this clear when He said that times and seasons are under the Father’s authority, not human control. This means seasons are released, not guessed; they are discerned, not assumed.

This is why proximity is not always an advantage. A person can be close to opportunity, close to power, and close to divine activity, yet miss the season because they lack understanding. Many stood close to Jesus physically, yet only a few understood what God was doing in their time.

Ecclesiastes tells us that God makes everything beautiful in its time but time must first be accessed. Beauty is not automatic; it is revealed when alignment meets discernment. Without spiritual sensitivity, a season can pass unnoticed, even while a person is standing inside it.

Those who walk with God must therefore learn to ask, observe, and listen not just move. When discernment is present, seasons open. When discernment is absent, seasons close silently.

Prayer:
Lord, grant me discernment to recognize and rightly respond to my seasons. Amen.
