DAY 3 – The Hand of God: Power, Anointing, and Authority

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 31:14-15
But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.”
My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who persecute me.

Key Thought:
The hand of God is the place of power and authority.

Devotional:

Previously, we established that God’s power is activated through prayer—particularly prayer in the Holy Spirit. Prayer is one of the divine mechanisms that moves the hand of God

We also learned that God’s hand is the residence of His power, and it takes the hand of God for anyone to step into divinely appointed and orchestrated times and seasons.

Scripture reinforces this truth.

Psalm 118:15-16
“The right hand of the LORD does valiantly; the right hand of the LORD is exalted;

Exodus 15:6
“Your right hand, O LORD, is glorious in power; Your right hand, O LORD, shatters the enemy.

Deuteronomy 26:8
So the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders.

From our anchor scripture in Psalm 31:14-15, David demonstrated a deep understanding of the mystery of divine seasons which was why he declared that his times were in God’s hands. By placing his life, circumstances, and timings into God’s hand, David aligned himself with divine authority and power. He positioned himself to witness the manifestation of God’s power.

The hand of God represents His active involvement in a man’s life. It is in His hand that seasons are released, anointing flows, and authority is established. When your life is in God’s hand, power follows naturally— because His hand is where His power is domiciled.

Prayer:
Lord, I place my times, seasons, and destiny into Your hands. Amen.

Declaration:
My life rests in the powerful hand of God.
